Kula Family Support Information

We (Kurt & Kendall) have been serving overseas for over 31 years in Poland, Cambodia and now, since September of 2021, the republic of Georgia. We are a part of the pastoral staff at CC Tbilisi and the CC Bible College Eurasia staff as well. We have four children, all born on the mission field, three of whom have returned to the States to pursue their education and now some our pursuing a calling of missions in other countries.
Our prayer is to see our ministry base in Tbilisi become an Antioch to several of the CC missionaries and others in the middle east and a place they can send their national workers to be equipped for the work of the ministry. The Bible College offers a one-year missions training program for those who think they are called to missions but aren’t quite sure what steps to take to prepare.
The Republic of Georgia is located between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, south of Russia and north of Turkey, Iran, Armenia and Azerbaijan. The main language is Georgian, while the older generation speaks Russian and the youth are all learning English. Tbilisi, the capital, has become a melting pot of several cultures and languages. In a city of over 1.3 million people, one may hear around 10 different languages being spoken on any given day. Our Bible studies are actually in English and translated into Georgian because several different nationalities attend CC Tbilisi and English is the common language.  We hope to have an opportunity not only with the beautiful Georgian people but also several of the other people groups which surround them. At present, a door of opportunity has opened with the Azeri people in a village bordering Azerbaijan, called Jandari. We are discipling many Russian speaking people and Ukrainians as a result of the war.  We are also beginning to disciple Iranian believers. Our church, Calvary Chapel Tbilisi has over 15 different nationalities attending on Sundays!
